Anger is an emotion that can be defined as frustration, annoyance, irritation, or rage. It is a normal feeling and it’s generally healthy to be able to express anger. Individuals often become angry when he/she feels threatened, or due to traumatic events or injustices (both real and perceived). Anger is often associated with biological changes like an increased heart rate, sweating, and high blood pressure.
Anger issues can lead to damaging behavior and can affect an individual’s relationships and reputation. When someone cannot express anger in a healthy way, he/she may need professional therapy called anger management.
