Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in teens
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (or ADHD) is used to refer to problems with hyperactivity, impulsive behavior, and challenges paying attention. ADHD affects millions of teens and children who often exhibit symptoms such as low self-esteem, inability to maintain relationship and poor performance at school (or work).
For some, the symptoms decrease with age. In other cases, medication and/or therapy may be required on an ongoing basis. The right treatment can help young adults and teens manage their ADHD and lead normal lives.
